Friends of the sea accredited fish oil
Nutramega uses a Friends of the Sea accredited fish oil which provides specific levels of EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids.
Natural anti-inflammatory effects EPA and DHA are also used by the body to produce signaling molecules called eicosanoids, which can help calm inflammation and support cardiovascular health.
Cognitive function
Omega-3, especially from DHA has been shown to aid the structure and function of brain cells by promoting the natural synthesis of synaptic membranes and dendritic spines, thereby aiding neurotransmission, Omega-3 DHA supplementation plays an indispensable role in naturally supporting neuronal membranes in the aged brains.
Skin & coat health
Omega-3 for dogs and cats works in the skin to aid the body’s own natural anti-inflammatory processes. EPA and DHA are the precursors for newly discovered lipids called Resolvins and Protectins, which support the natural systems that control inflammation.
Heart health
Omega-3 fatty acids can help to support and maintain a healthy heart. Omega-3 is helpful for reducing levels of bad cholesterol while raising heart-healthy cholesterol, Omega 3 fatty acids have been shown to increase weight loss in overweight dogs.

Ingredients
Omega 3s – Nutracoat is specifically developed for animals and contains a high strength formula totalling 275mg of Omega-3s with active fatty acids EPA (130mg) and DHA (85mg). It works in the skin to aid the body’s own natural anti-inflammatory processes.
EPA and DHA – These are the precursors for newly discovered lipids called Resolvins and Protectins which support the natural systems that control inflammation.
d-Biotin – d-Biotin synthesises fatty acids and is important for maintaining healthy skin, coat and nails
d-Alpha Tocopherol – is the most potent natural source of Vitamin E and is used as an antioxidant to support the immune system.

Administration Rate 
To be given to your dog or cat as recommended by your veterinary surgeon.
Each capsule to be given either whole by mouth or pierced and contents of capsules squeezed onto or into your pets usual food.
For optimal benefit, administer for a minimum of 4 weeks or advised by your veterinary surgeon.
