Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha helps regulate the production of stress hormones, such as cortisol. It supports the balance of neurotransmitters in the brain, including serotonin and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). This helps regulate blood sugar, reduce anxiety, and boost the immune system. We use a special form of ashwagandha that’s a traditional extract taken from the root. This more concentrated form can help alleviate anxiety, fear of loud noises and other stress related behaviours.

Passiflora incarnata

Commonly known as passion flower this extract has long been known for its ability to relax and reduce tension. Biochemical studies show that natural flavonoids are a key active ingredient and that Passiflora aids the effectiveness of GABA brain receptors. This aids relaxation, making it a perfect ingredients for dog calming treats.

L-Tryptophan

We use L-Tryptophan that is a natural amino acid found in many proteins. It’s involved in the production of the neurotransmitter hormone serotonin and has been shown to help reduce aggression and stress.

Taurine

Our vegan taurine is an amino acid involved in the function of neurotransmitters. It supports the stress-relieving neurotransmitters; serotonin, dopamine and noradrenalin which in anxious or stressed pets leads to a calming response.

Pre and postbiotics

Hydrolysed yeast, derived from Saccharomyces cerevisiae, enhances gut health, which is closely linked to overall well-being and emotional stability.
