Which gives some sensible advice about this product and its uses and limits in dogs. The Blend I sell below is made in the UK by Canawell and is not specifically licensed for dogs it used to be marketed as 'Pet Blend' but the Veterinary Medicines Directorate have said CBD oil is a medicine so cannot be sold as such. It can be a useful supplement but it is wise to discuss with your vet if your pet has an illness.
The Pet Blend is the same product as Canawell's Hemp PURE.
Many people have begun to provide Hemp extracts to cats and dogs to support their overall health. Always consult with your veterinarian if your pet seems ill! or if having other medication.

Instructions for Use
Cats / small dogs - 2-5 drops daily
Medium dogs - 6-10 drops
Large dogs - 11-15 drops
5 drops = 1.4+mg cannabinoids

You can give it to your four legged companion at any time of day, morning or night, on an empty or full stomach. Ideally mix with food or drop on a treat to avoid your pet licking or chewing the dropper !
The bottle should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, or can be refrigerated. It is recommended you use it within 6 months of opening. Shelf life is approximately 1.5 years (2+ years if refrigerated).
For your guidance, there are approximately 300 drops in a 10ml bottle and 900 drops in a 30ml bottle which means if you take 10 drops per day, one 10ml bottle will last around one month and the 30ml bottle around three months.

Ingredients
Our famous CO2 Hemp extracts are of an industrial hemp variety of Cannabis sativa.
1) Hemp Extract
Because the CO2 extraction used to make our oils yields a full spectrum extract, our hemp extracts contain over 80 different phyto-cannabinoids, including CBD, CBC, CBG, CBN, CBG-A, CBC-A, and many others. Our Hemp Pure oils happen to naturally contain high levels of cannabidiol (CBD) because it’s made from a full spectrum hemp extract.  You can see the analysis when viewing the test certification. In addition there are also many other types of natural molecules present such as amino acids, carbohydrates, vitamins (including B1, B2, B6, D), fatty acids (including omega 3 & 6), trace minerals (including iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium, potassium), beta-carotene, chlorophyll, flavanoids, ketones, nitrogenous compounds, alkanes, glycosides, pigments, water, and terpenes. The most common terpenes in our hemp extracts are Myrcene, Beta-caryophyllene, Terpinolene, Linalool, alpha-Pinene, beta-Pinene, Nerolidol og Phytol, trans-alpha-Bergamotene, Limonene/ beta-Phellandrene (Co-elution), and alpha-Humulene.
The oils creators, Bluebird Botanicals, systematically seek out the healthiest and most beautiful hemp cultivars for their raw ingredients used in manufacturing our wonderful pure extracts. The hemp used for all our oils is grown under the same methods and standards of organic farming.
To determine the purity and potency of every batch of Hemp Extract each individual extraction is analyzed through a High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) system, a Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) system, and other methods to test for aerobic organisms, yeast, fungus, E. coli, pesticides, heavy toxic metals, cannabinoid potency, and terpenes. With these multiple analyses performed we can weigh the Hemp Extract for making our blends knowing that the cannabinoid rich oil is pure and consistent throughout every batch made. Then, once our final Hemp products are prepared they are further analyzed, once again, for their potency and purity, so our clients can know that every finished product we sell contains what we claim and is free from any potential contaminants. To see the test certificates go to our
Test Certificate section.
2) Unrefined, Organic Virgin Hempseed Oil
The cold pressed hempseed oil is also from an industrial hemp variety of Cannabis sativa which doesn’t require herbicides, pesticides and fertilisers. Hempseed oil is considered to be very nutritious and also carries the perfect 3:1 ration of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids.
The CO2 hemp extract is a thick, sticky substance and to give our oils this wonderful droppable consistency the extract is being emulsified into a base oil. As cannabinoids bind to fats, the fatty acid content in hempseed oil makes it ideal to mix with our Pet Blends.

THOSE WHO SUSPECT THEIR PET MAY HAVE A DISEASE OR ARE SEEKING HELP FOR A SPECIFIC DISEASE SHOULD CONSULT A QUALIFIED VETERINARIAN.
A selection of books about the use of CBD cannabis oils in pets. I have not read all these so cannot review but ebooks are all free or very inexpensive.
