Halscion 85g

An enhanced formula containing Rehmannia to gradually foster tranquility and normal cognition

Description

Halscion how does it help?

Canine Cognitive Dysfunction  is assumed to be the problem whenever a middle-aged to older dog has unexplained issues with some combination of insomnia, pacing, panting, whining, hyper-reactivity, fussing, detachment, and anxiety. Many different costly drugs are often tried but often bring just an hour or two of relief. The good news, though, is that not all dogs with these symptoms have CCD.

Insomnia, agitation, lack of focus, anxiety, spinning, and restlessness are all symptoms of an excessive response to stress by the adrenal glands, such as PTSD in humans. The source of stress may be unknown but stress is likely if the dog seems strong when agitated, has a rapid heart rate, or has high blood pressure. Vertigo from idiopathic vestibular disease is common as well because stress disorders like PTSD cause too much cerebral blood flow, promoting inflammation of cranial nerves.

When used consistently over a period of several days to weeks, Halscion supports normal adrenal gland activity and brain circulation. Its components have even put adrenal gland cancer (known as pheochromocytoma) into remission. When adrenal gland function and brain circulation are normal, episodes of anxiety, agitation and insomnia gradually lessen in severity, duration and frequency, with the pet recovering faster afterwards. As the brain returns to normal, the dog relaxed and comfortable in its own skin, reducing the need for drugs.

As a suggested starting dose, give twice daily as follows:

Helps settle my old dog
A few months ago my vet put my 15 year old border collie on Halscion. Physically, she’s in great shape and would pace a little in the evening but nothing crazy. After being on it for 2 or 3 bottles, I ran out and kept forgetting to reorder. Until she got worse – pacing at all times of the day, taking longer to settle at bedtime and getting ‘stuck’ more often. I reordered when I realized how much better she was on it. I received my bottle the other day and will make sure we don’t run out again!

Thanks for making a quality product!

No doubt it works for adrenal support and anxiety.
My dog has shown an outstanding difference in her behavior on Halscion. I read in your description of the product that it can help with adrenal function. My girl had low cortisol but tested negative for Addisons. I knew she still needed adrenal support since having an intolerance to warm temperatures also. She is a rescue and she is very intelligent in training, but she also would get so excited she couldn’t contain her energy for greeting people. She is anxious in some situations, was pacing a lot before feeding, and definitely showing signs of adrenal issues. I was in a traditional vets office getting her some acupuncture this week and she was astounded by her change of behavior since I got her over 2 years ago. She even asked me what I was using and I told her. I mentioned some of your other products we use also. I have many neighbors who have also stated there is a substantial difference in her calmer energy since I got her. Thank you so much for such a great natural product, Dr. Marsden!

Saved my girl!
My dog has some sort of autoimmune disease. She was close to death. We had her on prednisone and blood pressure drugs but nosebleeds and illness continued. Dr Steve Marsden recommended this and I ran it bu my regular vet. She has been on it for 2 months. We have dropped one if 2 blood pressure meds and cut the prednisone in half! Wonder drug to me!

Helped my dog tremendously
This product was wonderful. My Schnauzer had some nystagmus episodes after taking Heartguard. MRI was normal. All blood work normal. Since I had great experience using Adoptrex and Lumbrex in the past I decided to try this and after just the first day the nystagmus episodes only lasted 20-30 seconds and the eyes barely moved side to side. Way different than all the days before I gave this. Then the next day he had one episode even shorter with the eyes barely moving. That was it. There hasn’t been anymore episodes in the last few weeks. He’s completely normal. I only gave half the dose too. I’m amazed and relieved.

I really appreciate Steve and everything he does to help

dogs live their best lives.

Worked at first but now I think it’s making her more anxious
This was recommended as a great supplement to help dogs with fireworks. We started our fearful, anxious girl on it 2 weeks prior to the 4th of July and she survived the holiday better than she ever has. Still anxious but she stayed with us instead of shaking and hiding. Fast forward to where we are today and she is far more fearful than she ever has been. Any noise, disruption, etc. and she is terrified. She’s even started peeing in the house to avoid walking past where the pots and pans are in the kitchen. Has anyone else dealt with this reaction? I’m going to stop giving it to her to see if she calms back down.
